On June 17, the last time the hospital provided an update , the hospital said his condition was "serious", and that he had undergone another surgery but was continuing to improve. Scalise is expected to be in the hospital for weeks. "The FBI continues to process evidence collected from various search sites in an effort to assess the potential motivations of the single shooter", the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a press release Friday.
