Former doorman was paid $30K to keep quiet over Trump rumor

Feds are trying to determine if the American Media Inc. helped Trump during the presidential campaign

Prosecutors are investigating whether he broke banking or campaign laws in connection to the two payments, and on Monday FBI agents raided his hotel and office in a move he described as an "inappropriate and unnecessary".

The story of the ex-doorman, Dino Sajudin, hasn't been told until now. The American people that elected Trump have not shown they're bothered by matters of morality.

The AP report details how American Media Inc.

The Enquirer maintains it didn't report the doorman's story because it "lacked any credibility".

Michael Cohen, President Trump's longtime personal attorney, set up a shell company in DE three weeks before the 2016 election.

Sajudin was paid $30,000 by the Enquirer for the exclusive rights to his story about Trump's out-of-wedlock child.

Dylan Howard, the Enquirer's top editor and an AMI executive, also explained that the story seemed very interesting in the beginning and would have sold "hundreds of thousands" of magazines, but turned out to be untrue. According to the outlet, longtime Trump lawyer Michael Cohen also knew about the matter and spoke with the tabloid before it ultimately chose to quash the story. "I think the public should know that".

Earlier this week, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents raided the NY offices of Michael Cohen, the president's personal attorney.

Cohen has been accused of protecting Trump's image through hush agreements and large cash payments, like the one he made to adult film star Stormy Daniels just 11 days before the 2016 election.

They said the publication didn't pursue standard Enquirer reporting practices, such as tabloid tactics created to prove paternity. And, really, who among us didn't father a love child in the 80s?

The ex-doorman, the AP discovered, was privy to rumor of a relationship between Trump and another woman who lived at Trump World Tower. The AP has not been able to determine if the rumour is true and is not naming the woman.

Her mom lives in a modest neighborhood in Queens, N.Y. When reached by The Associated Press, she said, "This is all fake".

"National Enquirer" owner and close friend of Donald Trump, David Pecker. It acknowledged discussing the former doorman's tip with Trump's representatives, which it described as "standard operating procedure in stories of this nature".

Four longtime Enquirer staff members contradicted Howard's statement during interviews with the AP. Daniels had signed a non-disclosure agreement but has since sued to claim the agreement was void because Trump had not signed it.

Former Playboy model Karen McDougal alleged that her story about an affair she had with Trump was also bought by AMI only to never be published as well. McDougal has since said that she regrets signing the non-disclosure agreement and is now suing to get out of it. A spokesperson for the Trump Organization denied the allegations, including the assertion that Calamari told Sajudin the story.

Paying for a catch-and-kill story is unto itself not a crime, however whether or not these payments were made with campaign funds may be the smoking gun.

New York City police officers stand guard outside the entrance to Trump Tower. After a promise of $500, Sajudin took the polygraph test, and the administrator revealed that all his responses were truthful.

The Radar Online article did not refer to the $1 million penalty that was reportedly in the contract.
