Four people killed in shooting at Turkish university - reports

The state-run news agency Anadolu said police had arrested the gunman, with broadcaster CNN reporting he had surrendered and did not try to escape.

Earlier, unconfirmed reports said three people were also injured.

Police are now questioning the assailant.

Gonen said the assailant entered the university's education faculty with a gun and shot the four university staff members. Students and teachers panicked as images showed them gathering outside the main entrance of the university while ambulances were reaching the area.
