Black Panther is now the top-grossing superhero film of all time

'Black Panther' Tops $1.2B WW & Pushes Disney Past $1B At International Box Office

Marvel's Black Panther pulled off a feat not many people would have anticipated when it overtook The Avengers to become the highest-grossing superhero movie of all time in the USA.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, projected weekend numbers put director Ryan Coogler's Marvel movie ahead of The Avengers' $623.4 million haul in 2012, adjusted for inflation. By April, then, Black Panther will probably pass Spider-Man: Homecoming's Chinese box office gross of $116.2 million. Avengers: Age of Ultron has a total collection of 1.40 billion dollars while Iron Man is at 1.21 billion dollars.

"Black Panther" continues to break records at the box office, and the latest one is a doozy. The film earned praise for its progressive values, mostly black cast, sympathetic portrayal of African cultures, and performances.

China may hike tariffs on U.S. pork, aluminum, other goods
As a result, foreign investment, particularly from China, has become increasingly critical to financing USA economic growth. Trump also asked the Treasury Department to impose restrictions on Chinese investment in American companies.

Black Panther can't seem to stop itself from accruing new records.

Black Panther takes place two years after the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016) that resulted in the assassination of King T'Chaka. The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron are now the top two, with $1.5 billion and $1.4 billion, respectively. Nevertheless, China is still Black Panther's top earner in respect to the film's worldwide box office.

Both "Avengers" releases have performed mightily overseas, where they have drawn well more than half of their audience - which bodes very well for "Avengers: Infinity War", due out April 27 and in which Black Panther/T'Challa is again featured.
