Two out of ten grounded Airbus 320-neos back in service: IndiGo

Yet another IndiGo flight grounded in Delhi

IndiGo put two of its Airbus A320 Neo aircraft back into service on Tuesday and expects a third NEO aircraft to be back in the air by late Tuesday night, the airline sources said. For a while, the two airlines operated these aircraft under certain restrictions but later, the problem was said to be solved.

"The aircraft was immediately withdrawn to investigate the hydraulic leak".

IndiGo had said in a statement, "An A320 Neo aircraft that operated Delhi-Srinagar was cleared after maintenance checks upon arrival at Srinagar airport", reported in Zee News.

This development follows P&W President Robert F. Leduc's recent declaration that all the grounded planes will be back in air soon, "You may have seen that the Indian authorities took a decision to ground the fleet in India that have engines of this".

When asked about flight cancellation, the official said airlines are updating fares on their websites and if other airlines started charging higher fares, the regulator will interfere. These are not the only emergency landing made by Indigo, it is known that a total of six flights have been grounded by the low-priced carrier in one week.
