50 Mums And Their Children With Down's Syndrome Make Emotional Carpool Karaoke-Style Video

THIS Morning viewers were left in tears today as children with Down's Syndrome and their mums recreated their viral A Thousand Years video live on air.

If you thought nothing could beat Adele singing a Spice Girls hit, or Lin-Manuel Miranda having a rap battle James Corden while driving around NY, then you haven't seen what the late-show host himself says is "the most lovely Carpool Karaoke ever".

To raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day, 50 mums have recorded a video showing them performing Christina Perri's A Thousand Years with their children, who all have Down's Syndrome.

Singer-songwriter Perri, who reportedly gave permission for the group to use her track, said she was "so honored they chose my song".

Since it was uploaded on Friday, the video has had over one million views on Facebook and close to half a million on YouTube.

Keen to learn the routine, Holly and Phil were taught how to sign to Christina Perri's hit, A Thousand Years, which featured in the tribute.

"We definitely wanted everyone to see it", she told the BBC. The opening message reads: "Introducing 50 ordinary mums and 50 ordinary four-year-olds with just one tiny connection: One extra chromosome".
