More than 20 people were injured Tuesday morning when a seven-alarm fire struck an apartment building in the Bronx, a Fire Department of NY spokesman said.

According to the reports, at least 16 people have been injured as the blaze continues to rage.

The cause of the fire is not immediately known.

This fire comes just days after 12 people were killed at 2363 Prospect The Bronx - the city's deadliest fire in more than a quarter-century.
