OH family gives unique gift to child's teachers

DJ Sommers

An Ohio couple says they made a decision to put their son's picture onto bottles of wine and distribute them to his teachers because the educators deserved more than the typical thank you gift. DJ's post has has already been liked over 35,000 times since being shared with the world on December 18.

Jake's older brother DJ took to Twitter to share a photo of the brilliant gift that his parents personalized for 10 teachers in need of a big glass after dealing with Jake.

My parents always get our elementary school teachers a present around Christmas. "Typically something small like a candle or flower to say thank you".

"How many coffee mugs does a teacher need?" This year, they thought the educators deserved something a little more intoxicating, so they bought each teacher a bottle of wine.

DJ's tweet quickly went viral and his mom, Mary, is the talk of the town; she told WHIO that her son isn't a bad kid but that he is "that kid".

It's the gift that keeps on giving, especially for teachers or parents - wine.
