Facebook Messenger Games List: Launching New Titles, Video Chat And Livestream Features

Another feature will be rolled out for select games in which users will be able to video chat and play these games during a video call.

The livestreaming started rolling out this week, while the video chat feature will be introduced early next year. The social media giant has catered this wish of its users as Facebook Now Allows You to Live Stream While Playing Games.

Facebook Inc. today is expanding Instant Games with new features, including additional games, live streaming and a video chat feature that will be available early next year.

Over the next few weeks and months, Facebook is adding more titles to Instant Games, which will join original games, like Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Words With Friends Frenzy. Once the broadcast is finished the video will then be posted on their profile page for all those who have missed it. The games will be multi-player like Words With Friends from Zynga which will be the first game to launch. Both games are built by CoolGames, an Instant Games platform developer.

While playing a Instant Game in the Messenger app tap the camera icon located in the upper right corner of the game.

These games will be available in coming weeks. It will allow users and friends to watch each other's reaction as they play the game.

In 2018, Facebook Messenger brings Disney plush characters to the platform with Disney Tsum Tsum, published by LINE Corp. "We're introducing two new features to Instant Games that will help you engage and connect with those you care about in new and different ways", notes Facebook on its blog post. "To the people who continue to enjoy, share, compete and challenge themselves and their friends to games on Messenger, thanks for playing and game on".
