Are you excited about Law's part in Captain Marvel? According to Variety, Law will play a "mentor of sorts" to Larson's Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel.

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Half Nelson) are directing Captain Marvel with Kevin Feige producing for the studio. Her solo feature has been confirmed to be an origin story that will focus on the character of Carol and who she is instead of her superpowers.

The character that Law will not be the villain of the piece as Ben Mendelsohn has already been signed up for that role.
