Mumbai: On early Thursday morning, Karan Johar surprised fans with a new poster of Dhadak stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar. The looks of the posters represent the sizzling chemistry between this new couple.

The veteran actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor has got much media attention before her big silver screen debut. The upcoming flick that is slated for a July 6, 2018 release, is being directed by Shashank Khaitan, who created Bollywood blockbusters like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. While Dhadak will be Janhvi's first film, Ishaan is making his debut with Iranian director Majid Majidi's film, Beyond The Clouds.

Bollywood aficionados are, needless to say, going insane over the announcement, with the legendary actress herself showering the Dhadak team with "good wishes", saying "May all blessings be with you'll to make a honest film".

While the tweet went viral and was widely shared by celebrities, wishing the star kids luck for their debut film, it also brought the entire nepotism controversy to the fore.
