Refocused: Carolina Panthers 20, Atlanta Falcons 17

Atlanta Falcons vs. Panthers: Week 9 live stream, game info

In a game that started off ugly, the Carolina Panthers were able to score 20 straight points in the middle and held off the Atlanta Falcons late to end a three-game losing streak to their division rival. However, it took only 90 more seconds for the Panthers to get their second touchdown of the day, a rushing touchdown by Cam Newton.

Carolina entered the game ranked second in the National Football League in sacks, but their first of the game didn't come until the end of the third quarter.

But Carolina had its own answer at receiver in Funchess, who played a physical game with five catches for 86 yards (many after the catch), including a 33-yard long.

The Falcons cut the lead to 20-17 on a 19-yard touchdown reception with 3:25 remaining in the game, but Carolina's defense kept Atlanta from scoring on its final drive. Jones got past Coleman and had a step on him heading into the end zone, but quarterback Matt Ryan's pass attempt was overthrown.

The Atlanta Falcons were supposed to be one of the best offenses in the League yet again this season but have looked to be anything but. The touchdown stood, giving Carolina a momentum-shifting lead as the teams headed into halftime.

Supreme Court refers pleas to deposit demonetised notes to constitution bench
Governor, the latter can exercise his veto and citing differences, refer the matter to the President for decision. During the hearing, Mr Subramaniam told the bench that "an elected government can not be without any power".

The Panthers' victory gives Carolina a 1-1 record against NFC South opponents this season.

The Falcons are 4-4 and have lost four of their last five games.

Steph Curry is a huge Carolina Panthers fan, and he found himself envying Cam Newton's athleticism during Sunday's game against the Falcons. Carolina running backs have only scored two of the team's six rushing touchdowns through week 9. He also had a sack to increase his seasonal total to 6.5. Carolina improves to 6-3 on the year, while Atlanta falls back to.500 at 4-4 on the season.

While it is not all on the play calling it should be noted that the Falcons continue to get cute and refuse to make the easy calls like running the ball on short yardage downs.
