"Look What You Made Me Do" was played more than 8 million times on Friday.

Taylor Swift has defied her haters who were less than thrilled with the lyric video for her new single "Look What You Made Me Do".

"Look What You Made Me Do" director Joseph Kahn shared a status update thanking fans for supporting the video and announced the final number for video views.

According to the latest Spotify data, the Swift smash has been streamed 23 million times.

Swift's new album, "reputation," will drop on November 10. At its peak, the video was attracting 3 million views per hour, surpassing both the year's biggest musical debut (the "Despacito" remix featuring Justin Bieber - 22 million views in 24 hours) and Adele's "Hello", which logged 27 million in that time frame in 2015.

The highly stylised clip begins with Swift dressed as a zombie climbing out of a grave topped with a headstone reading "Here lies Taylor Swift's reputation".

Apart from that, Jurgen Klopp's side have also recruited Andrew Robertson from Hull City and Dominic Solanke from Chelsea . It's easy when there is no pressure playing in mid-table where you can win today, lose tomorrow.

The title had previously been held by the lyric video for Something Just Like This from Coldplay and the Chainsmokers, which racked up 9 million views in a single day.

Shiran, an Israeli Jewish Arabic singer, gets her inspiration from old Yemenite folk songs and chooses to sing most of her music in Arabic, even though that means many of her fans can't understand what she's saying.

Said "receipts"- an internet catchphrase used to call for proof or evidence - was a video of a phone conversation between the rapper and Swift, which Kardashian said proved the singer knew about the song lyric she later complained about. And the music video, up until its ending, did the same thing, showing the singer as someone with no intent on apologizing for or taking ownership over anything, but rather, focusing on getting revenge on the people who supposedly did her wrong.

"I've had a secret obsession with Taylor Swift since I was in sixth grade, and I just think her new stuff is fairly good".
