Xiaomi Mi 5X expected to launch on September 5 in India

Xiaomi is all set to launch its next budget smartphone- Mi 5X in India on September 5. The company did tease the touch down of the phone in India. On Monday, he took to Twitter again, only this time round he has revealed that the phone that the company will launch in India on September 5 does not exist yet.

The invite gives little information about the phone - but it does hint at the presence of a dual-camera setup. However, it has informed the presence of a dual camera on the phone. Therefore, in terms of specifications and features, not much is left for speculations. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The standard lens has an f/1.8 aperture, while the second lens has an f/2.6 aperture. The dual-cameras are capable of recording 4K videos at 30 FPS and 720P videos 120 FPS. The device will come in three colours - Gold, Black and Rose Gold.

Xiaomi Mi 5X has already been launched in China, so its specifications and features are known to the public. Xiaomi has started sending Media invites for the launch event of its new phone. As said earlier, the Mi 5X could run MIUI 9 or be part of the Google's Android One project. Finally, a 3080mAh battery completes the package.
