Usher herpes accuser goes public with press conference

Quantasia Sharpton, 21 (pictured), is suing Usher for reportedly having sex with her and not telling her he had herpes

In front of the cameras, Quantasia Sharpton explained that she had met with the american star after one of his concerts, the evening of his 19th birthday (no specific date has been disclosed). Later, a security guard picked me up and asked me for my number.

Quantasia Sharpton, one of the women who's suing Usher and accusing him of exposing her to herpes, tweeted that she needed money a week before the lawsuit.

During the conference, Bloom noted that, while Sharpton tested negative for herpes, one of the other two accusers has tested positive for the STD. "And everyone, even ordinary people who find themselves swept away by a superstar, has the legal right to be respected, which includes being warned about STDs so that they can make their own choices about their own bodies", Bloom said. Her other two clients, one woman and one man, have opted to remain anonymous.

According to the filing, submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, New York Marine and General Insurance Company reportedly claim they're not obligated to defend Usher, born Usher Raymond, in his current lawsuits in California and Georgia, or any others that may crop up in the future.

Quantasia Sharpton, 21, spoke to media alongside Bloom at a morning press conference in NY yesterday, The Daily Mail reported.

"When I first heard he had herpes, I couldn't believe it".

Another woman has stepped forward and is suing Usher, claiming he exposed her to genital herpes without her knowledge.

Interestingly enough, Bloom said that she doesn't know for sure if Usher even has herpes, according to TMZ. Although I am negative, I was upset by the reports because I would have never consented if I would have known.

Court papers were obtained and published by Radar Online and claimed that he was first "exposed" to the sexually transmitted disease (STD) around 2009 or 2010, around the time he split from ex-wife Tameka Foster. The alleged victims claimed that the "U Got It Bad" singer did not warn them about his diagnosis before engaging in sexual contact with them.

"We hope he has not knowingly endangered his sex partners", Bloom said.

"I wouldn't have taken the risk of getting an incurable disease". Later, she returned to her hotel room, and Usher called her to come over.

Usher's attorney did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
