Wrestler Alberto Del Rio Part Of Police Investigation Into Possible Domestic Violence

Paige and Alberto Del Rio in Orland before the incident

Current Impact and Global Force Wrestling Champion Alberto El Patron is under investigation for possible domestic violence following an incident involving his fiancee, WWE star Paige. But the police said the case remains open.

On Twitter this afternoon, Paige said that the incident was being misreported and that she and Del Rio actually called the police themselves because a woman got angry and threw a drink at Del Rio. It sounds like Del Rio dares her to call the cops, to which Paige responded, "Just stay out of my life".

Later on throughout the day, 411Mania.com released a transcript of recorded audio pertaining to the altercation which would seem to indicate that the argument was actually between El Patron and Paige.

The Orlando Police department released the following statement. "Leave me the f**k alone", the wrestler, real name Saraya-Jade Bevis, allegedly yells out in the audio. "Leave me the f-- alone". "I'm trying to get away from you". "You've ruined my life, you've ruined my career" Del Rio and Paige continued their argument for a short while on the tram vehicle as Del Rio said, "Check her bag, she's got all the coke in it, it's all hers".

The witness also heard Paige scream "you're so abusive to me"; while El Patron said "Check her bag, she's got all of the coke in it". Days earlier, there was a almost identical incident in Puerto Rico with Alberto and Rob "Robbie E" Strauss, but that one didn't get violent. Previously, Del Rio was married to Angela Velkei, with whom he has three children. Alberto's then-wife, Angela Velkei, has claimed in divorce papers that she and her husband broke up two weeks later.

In the recordings, Paige apparently said: 'Get out of my life.

Heavy Sports spoke with the airport witness who was overheard in the audio that came out yesterday and she, who describes herself as a "wrestling superfan" had the following to say about what she witnessed.
